Our Story
Our story and journey begins in Clarkston, Georgia.
Clarkston is a small community in northeast Atlanta. Clarkston is often referred to as the "Ellis Island of the south" and it is considered by many as “the most diverse square mile in America.”

Clarkston offers a unique environment for ministering to the lives of internationals from around the world.
Over 60 languages are spoken in this unique community and over 90 distinct ethnic groups have been identified by local city leaders. Nearly, 2,500 new refugees are resettled into Clarkston each year.
The world is becoming more diverse and urban all the time. God is bringing the nations to North America. The Great Commission opportunities for the church are unprecedented.
The Harvest is plentiful, but more spiritual leaders are needed.
One of the greatest needs in the Church today is for trained spiritual leaders. There is an even greater need for trained leaders to minister in the ethnic communities in Clarkston and other culturally diverse areas.
The Center for the Study of Global Christianity (CSGC) estimates that globally only 5% of Pastors have any academic theological training.

If we are going to win a lost and dying world with the claims of Christ, we need to develop more effective ways of ministering to people in America’s overflowing cities.
Clarkston is a not only a good place to begin, it's arguably the best place in the Southeast to be immersed in multi-cultural ministry.
Our Vision
It was in the backdrop of this content that the vision of Clarkston Bible Institute was formed.
During the spring of 2016, a group of pastors and Christian leaders agreed to develop a program that would provide Biblical and theological training and a “world class hands-on internship program” in Clarkston, Georgia. Thus beginning what is now called Clarkston Bible Institute (CBI).
Our Mission
The specific aim of this training is to equip and multiply spiritual leaders.
and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. (2 TIM 2:2 ESV)
To achieve this objective, Clarkston Bible Institute developed a one-year journey that is designed to provide Biblical, theological, and practical training for believers called to serve in Clarkston and the many diverse communities in North America and around the world.
This experience is perfect for current and future pastors, church planters, worship leaders, youth workers, and NGO leaders.

- Do you desire to become equipped?
- Do you have a desire to train others?
- Is God calling you to respond to these challenges?
